25 years after the BMW Z1 roadster first series Z for the manufacturer, BMW delivers new version of its Z4 pretty. Its base price: 36,900 euros.
Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013, the new BMW Z4 comes in concessions. For the occasion, the roadster is adorned with innovations in the field of engines, transmissions and equipment.
Sporty driving
Settling in placed just below the rear axle front seats, driver and passenger enjoy the best acceleration and holding the floor of the BMW Z4 . For the launch of the new BMW Z4, the engine range is increased to five petrol engines with all of the BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, which combines power and fuel economy. Three driving modes, Comfort, Sport and Sport +, are available to the driver via the center console.
The BMW Z4 sDrive18i is presented as the new entry-level model. It is powered by a 2.0 liter engine developing 156 horsepower, coupled to a standard six-speed manual gearbox. This gives it an acceleration from 0 to 100km / h in 7.9 s and a top speed of 221km / h. It consumes an average of 6.8 l/100km for CO2 emissions of 159g/km.
A car connected
BMW offers standard xenon headlights and air conditioning, heated rear glass, BMW Business radio (radio CD, auxiliary jack and six speakers), an indicator of deflating tires and runflat tires. A system navigation option enables to display maps in high definition and in 3D on a screen of 8.8 inches. Among other options on the new Z4, BMW also offers a rain sensor, cruise control with integrated braking and obstacle detector with sensors at the front and rear of the vehicle.
